Katherine Trunk is a contributor to The Brenner Brief, and resides on Long Island in NY. When asked about the inspiration for this painting, she said:

I just finished this portrait of Ambassador Christ Stevens. Such a terrible loss of life. I felt that it was almost cathartic to resurrect his face by drawing it. So terrible were the deaths of the Americans who died that night. Justice will win out in the end.

When you look at the painting, be sure to note the “MSM” flag at half mast.
