Agenda 21: Global Marxism In Disguise

Agenda 21, also known as “sustainable development, ” is a United Nations program that should concern every American. It is a direct threat to your freedom, liberty, and property rights. The main problem with this program is that it’s so far under the radar that most have never heard of it. That needs to change.

Agenda 21 has its origins in the 1970s. It was originally described as a plan to save the world — it is anything but. Several socialist activists came together in 1992 at the Rio Earth Summit, producing various plans. This included Agenda 21, the innocuously named 40-part United Nations plan to help promote global “sustainable development.”

Agenda 21 is broken into 8 sections: Agriculture; Biodiversity and Ecosystem Management; Education; Energy and Housing; Population; Public Health; Resources and Recycling; and, Transportation. Each section is comprehensive and intrusive in its own way.

Socialism is defined as “a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.”

Marxism is defined as “the system of economic and political thought developed by Karl Marx, along with Friedrich Engels, especially the doctrine that the state throughout history has been a device for the exploitation of the masses by a dominant class, that class struggle has been the main agency of historical change, and that the capitalist system, containing from the first the seeds of its own decay, will inevitably, after the period of the dictatorship of the proletariat, be superseded by a socialist order and a classless society.”

The term “sustainable development” should be thought of as global Marxism because that’s what really it is. This innocuously named concept is really a call for international government, disguised as a plan to save the environment, while in reality it is a direct threat to individual property rights. In Marxist theory, socialism is the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles. The horrific Agenda 21 program, with 20+ years of planning and momentum, is a key component of this transition.
