Al Gore’s international global warming and financial schemes
Surprisingly, CNN, main stream media king of networks, says there’s something not right, “ok, just plain weird” about Al Gore’s sale of Current TV to Al Jazeera, a middle-east based network with anti-American sentiments. Crony capitalism enabled Gore to launch Current TV in 2002 because of his former VP status. What CNN is choking on, along with other mainstream liberal media outlets, is Gore’s hypocrisy.
Gore, the inventor of global warming (and the internet), claims dirty oil is causing global warming but sells his tv venture to a Qatar owned company that makes their money from natural gas and oil.
While on a book tour for his new book “The Future,” Gore is questioned by the mainstream media:
Gore said, “I get the criticism, I just don’t agree with it.” Gore also has been criticized of trying to get the deal done before the end of the year to avoid Obama’s tax hike. Gore stands to make $70 million from the $500 million sale to Al Jazeera.
What’s Gore’s take on the EU carbon emission trading scheme as it continues its “death spiral”? On Jan. 31, 2013, the price of one ton of EU carbon has sunk below the price of a bag of charcoal briquettes, and on the same day Deutsche Bank shut down its global carbon trading operations because two of its board members were arrested for carbon tax evasion related to the bank’s EU carbon trading business. The irony doesn’t escape me, as it shouldn’t you, that carbon emission trading is actually called a “scheme.” Can the Marxist globalists be any more blatant than that?
Gore and the global warming brigade are watching California with bated breath because it is the first state to launch cap-and-trade in 2006 to limit its greenhouse gases. “California is a big economy, and it is very diverse, like the U.S. as a whole. If it can work in California, it can work in the U.S.,” says Mary Nichols, chairman of the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Nichols, a proud CARB member since 1975, is one of Democrat Governor Jerry Brown’s cronies. Brown appointed Nichols to serve on CARB’s chair during his first governorship from 1975 to 1983.
Carbon officially became a commodity in California when it held its first auction in November 2012 and raised $300 million. Judging how the Emissions Trading Scheme, ETS, is spiraling downward along with Deutsche Bank’s carbon emissions business, we can only hope the scheme does the same in California before companies move out-of-state because of its high cost, or other states adopt it. Climate change supporters view California’s cap and trade program as a victory, but California Chamber of Commerce filed a lawsuit with Governor Brown’s office alleging it will “hurt consumers, the job climate, and the ability of businesses to expand here.” Although Gore gets it, he doesn’t agree with it.
Obama said under his plan of a cap-and-trade program, “electricity costs will necessarily skyrocket.” Higher electricity costs couldn’t come at a worse time in California or any other state, with millions of Americans unemployed and those working Americans seeing less pay in their after-tax paychecks at the beginning of this year. Air conditioning in sunny California will become a luxury in the future that only elite politicians like Nichols and Brown will be able to afford.
On his blog, Gore had to share his 2007 Nobel Peace Prize with the IPCC. The IPCC, or Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, quoted from their website, is a “scientific body under the auspices of the United Nations (UN).” The Brenner Brief has published several articles on Agenda 21, the UN’s action plan for “sustainable development.” We have discovered Agenda 21 has been cleverly developed by global Marxist ideologues for a one world government, with the final goal to redistribute wealth from wealthier countries like the United States to third world countries.
While the IPCC has a mere 52 scientists on board, there are over 1000 international scientists who dissent and challenge the IPCC and Gore over man-made global warming. Many experts continue to join the dissenting ranks, especially after the climategate scandal in 2009 when global warming had been revealed in leaked emails to be fraudulent science. The mainstream media has been complicit in the climategate scandal cover-up, and refuse to report on a scientific conspiracy that has misused millions of American taxpayer dollars.
In 2007 in the UK, Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” video was distributed to every state secondary school. A father of two sued the UK government arguing the video was political in nature and had no place in the classroom. The ruling by the UK High Court determined that although the video was not illegal, it criticized it saying Gore “committed nine counts of scientific inaccuracy.”
Climate change skeptics over the years have challenged Gore to debate, but he has always refused, until recently when he agreed to a public debate on Jan. 8, 2013. Turns out Gore’s Climate Reality Project lost to their challenger, Heartland Institute, because the climate change gurus didn’t have facts to prove their argument.
Along with the price of the EU carbon, the global warming establishment continues its death spiral. Gore just doesn’t agree with it.
