Are We Looking at a FEMA Internment Camp in Ohio?

UPDATE: 8/5/2013 11:30 ET

Starting in 1982, Lima State Hospital became a medium-security prison, the Lima Correctional Institution. The prison closed in 2004, though a smaller prison on the site, the Allen Correctional Institution, remains.

UPDATE: 11:00pm CT 8/4/2013

It has been confirmed that the image used in this article is that of Allen Correctional Facility in Lima, OH. Of course, a good question to ask is why is someone just as of this year concerned about the use of this facility?

FEMA Internment Camp In Ohio?
FEMA camp

Is this a FEMA camp waiting for people? Certainly appears to be a prison…

For years now, we’ve been hearing about FEMA camps in the United States. I’ve heard about them. You’ve no doubt heard about them. Even Rachel Maddow has discussed aspects of Mr. Obama’s “preventative incarceration” and “prolonged detention” as possibly related to internment camps on her show.

If people are going to be indefinitely detained, where would these individuals be held? Enter FEMA.

Maddow noted that Obama was going to “construct a legal team to make indefinite detention legal.” The NDAA has done that. Even Maddow seemed upset with the notion. Are FEMA camps a response, or possibly the response to “problem” of where to house large groups of people, under what Obama has called “prolonged detention”?

In the video (below), there is some interesting footage from a man who claims to have a bit of “insider” information about a FEMA-type camp in Ohio, right near train tracks. He alleges that the camp we’re seeing in his video is indeed a camp in FEMA Sector 5. Give it a watch and listen.

What is interesting here is that since the topic of FEMA camps first came to the fore, there have been the naysayers. That’s expected and the truth is that those who negate concepts such as FEMA camps should be part of the conversation. If anything, it helps keep the conversation balanced while creating a need to dig further for any truth that might actually be associated with the entire subject.

Most important is the fact that the subject of FEMA camps has begun being reported in the news over the past year or more. CBS did a report on FEMA camps in the case of the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy this past November. The New York Times presented an article in 2006 in which a subsidiary of Haliburton (connected to Dick Cheney) was contracted to build “temporary immigration detention centers.” The purpose of these detention centers is to provide “Homeland Security Department for an unexpected influx of immigrants, to house people in the event of a natural disaster or for new programs that require additional detention space.” (emphasis added)

As we can see on the short video, the person who created it points out that there are train tracks that run right alongside the “camp” and actually enter into it. The same individual tells us that he knows someone who indicated that trains were seen with huge letters on the side reading “UN” and he takes that as a reference to the United Nations.

The narrator on the video also provides some detail as to the purpose of several buildings highlighted from the camp, stating that one, long white building is in fact, a working crematorium. There is no way to verify that information though. The building he points to certainly does appear to have some sort of chimney associated with it in four separate areas, but it is impossible to know if those chimneys point to a crematorium.

It is difficult (if not impossible) to know exactly what this camp is right now. Is it a prison waiting to be filled with prison inmates? If it’s a true FEMA camp, then it could be used for a number of things, but the fact that it has double rows of fencing around it with watchtowers and patrol cars and looks very much like a prison in every way is logically telling. There also seems to be no sign of inmates at all. Were they all inside when this picture was taken by satellite? You would think a few people would be seen even if the majority of inmates were inside, yet nothing. That means either that the facility is not in use yet or it is still under construction.

It might help us to recall that over the past number of years, numerous Executive Orders have been created and issued that are related to granting more power to the DHS, the DOJ, the president, and ultimately with FEMA, have provided greater power and authority for the government to take control of things in situations that it declares are emergencies. Let’s also remember that any time Martial Law is called, the U.S. Constitution itself goes on the shelf for the duration of Martial Law. For a listing of the specific Executive Orders that have been issued as far back as 30 years, click this link.

In the end, the question remains, what is the actual intention for these camps? It seems that with the way things have been going in America, the answer may not be long in coming.
